RCR 72v 41Ah & 45Ah BMS Info / Connection Guide

This guide walks you through identifying your battery, connecting to the correct BMS app, and checking battery health.

Step 1: Identify Your Battery

Before connecting, confirm which battery you have.

41Ah Battery

  • Requires the Xiaoxiang BMS app

  • Available on iOS and Android (phone or tablet)

45Ah Battery

  • Requires the Superpower BMS app

  • Available on iOS and Android (phone or tablet)

Make sure you install the correct app for your battery type.

Step 2: Connect to the BMS

Connection steps

  1. Download the correct BMS app based on your battery (see Step 1).

  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device.

  3. Open the app and start scanning for nearby BMS devices.

Device ID Prefixes

When scanning, look for the following device names:

41Ah Battery (Xiaoxiang BMS):

  • Device ID starts with HD or EK

45Ah Battery (Superpower BMS):

  • Device ID starts with CLY

Select the matching device to connect.

Step 3: Review Battery Health

Once connected, review the battery data displayed in the app.

Key metrics to check

  • State of Charge

  • Cell group voltages

  • Cell balance information

Important Battery Health Notes

  • The voltage difference between cell groups should ideally be no more than 0.1–0.15V.

  • If the battery is significantly out of balance, it may:

    • Fail to reach a full charge

    • Cut out during rides

    • Indicate a deeper issue with the battery or BMS

Final Reminder

Regularly checking your battery health can help prevent unexpected performance issues.

Ride safe.
